Assistant Director of Sports and Youth Programs
The Assistant Director of Sports and Youth Programs will deliver quality sports leagues, tournaments, clinics, and community partnerships at Fremont Family YMCA, as well as after-school youth and teen activities. Candidates should be engaging and uplifting, as well as have clear communication skills to deliver information to participants and members in-person and in writing.

Accounting Systems Specialist
The Accounting Support Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department by helping facilitate the transition from manual to automated processes. This individual will serve as the in-house expert on various accounting and payroll systems, including the SGA Fund Accounting system, payroll, benefits among others.
The ideal candidate will build an understanding of these systems, enabling them to support automation efforts, provide appropriate responses to employee queries, and contribute significantly to the department's move towards a paperless environment.
Day Camp Counselor
The Day Camp Counselor at the Fremont Family YMCA intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined. This position is responsible for running camp activities with other counselors and Camp Director. They will be a point of contact for pickup and drop off at the camp. Gets camp ready to go for the days planned actives with any supplies listed, or areas of the camp. Supervises campers during breaks and lunchtime. Supervise and lifeguard aquatics actives that include swimming, boating and fishing.
Child Care Openings
Our Y Care is Hiring! These are the positions we currently have available!
Hiring staff for all rooms, Monday - Friday 6 am-6 pm. 16 years or older.
Experience is recommended but not required, we will train! Qualified applicants will undergo an extensive background check. Building Supervisors
This part-time position pays between $12/hour. Shifts are during evenings and weekends.
Responsible for the safety of staff, members, and guests of the YMCA to ensure that all YMCA rules, policies, and procedures are understood and followed.
Duties include but are not limited to visual monitoring of the facility – both internally & externally, resolving differences between members and/or staff, conducting building tours, leading the facility in emergency situations, providing physical support to all program areas as needed, securing the facility at the end of the shift and/or day.

Before and After School Programs Teachers
We are now hiring individuals to work in our before and after-school care program for the upcoming school year. Hours will be Monday-Friday 6:00-8:00 a.m. and/or 3:15 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and will complete an extensive background check. Tumbling Instructor
We are hiring a part-time tumbling instructor. Hours are Tuesday evenings from 4-7 PM.
Essential functions:
1. Fully knowledgeable of tumbling and basic gymnastic practices.
2. Builds effective, authentic relationships with members and staff; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA.
3. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
4. Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
5. Must be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about youth development, training, coaching, and growing youth participants in tumbling.

Water Aerobics Group Fitness Instructor
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fremont Family YMCA is looking for a water aerobics instructor! This position is Monday mornings from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM with opportunities to sub at other times. The aqua fit class is high intensity and low impact with no swimming skills required. The instructor will help improve the flexibility, strength, range of motion, and cardiovascular endurance of the participants while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees, and back. The aqua strength and balance class is a beginner’s level water class catering to those 50+ in age. This class would consist of different exercises and routines. Hourly Wage Range: $12.50

- Builds effective, authentic relationships with members and staff; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA.
- Must possess excellent member relations skills.
- Follow all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes incident and accident reports when necessary.
- Must be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about overall wellness, resistance, and cardio training; coaches members via class instruction to support their desired change.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
- Complete and maintain CPR and First Aid trainings within 90 days of hire.
- Recommends new members to group exercise classes based on their goals.
- Is knowledgeable and can answer member questions to support their goals.
- Uses tools and information available to increase member knowledge on overall wellness.
- Maintains and cleans equipment according to schedules and checklists provided.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Wellness Center Attendant

Housekeeping
The YMCA is currently hiring for part-time (20-25 hours per week) positions in our housekeeping department. Hourly wages will range from $10.50-11.50/hour.
