Discovery Lake opens to the public on weekends starting June 6th.
Located at Christensen Family YMCA Camp, 3402 W. Military Ave, Discovery Lake is your new go-to summer destination for outdoor fun and relaxation. The lake offers a wide variety of family-friendly activities including swimming, paddleboarding, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing on the large sandy beach. Whether you’re seeking adventure or just a peaceful day by the water, Discovery Lake is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Admission: $15 for members, $20 for non-members (2 and under are free)
Concessions available for purchase
Rental opportunities are available for birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate events, team celebrations, and more! Rentals are $250 and include access to the Kerrigan Room, kitchen, and private bathrooms. In addition to the room rental fee, each guest attending the event will purchase a Discovery Lake day pass — $15 for YMCA members and $20 for non-members.
