We will be hosting our grand opening of Discovery Lake on Saturday, May 30th! Discovery Lake opens to the public on weekends starting June 6th.
Located at Christensen Family YMCA Camp, (3402 W. Military Ave.) Discovery Lake is your new go-to summer destination for outdoor fun and relaxation. The lake offers a wide variety of family-friendly activities including swimming, paddleboarding, fishing, kayaking, and relaxing on the large sandy beach. Whether you’re seeking adventure or just a peaceful day by the water, Discovery Lake is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Admission: $15 for members, $20 for non-members (2 and under are free)
Concessions available for purchase
Rental opportunities are available for birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate events, team celebrations, and more! Rentals are $250 and include access to the Kerrigan Room, kitchen, and private bathrooms. In addition to the room rental fee, each guest attending the event will purchase a Discovery Lake day pass — $15 for YMCA members and $20 for non-members.
