Dillon Family Aquatics Center

In 2018, the Dillon Family Aquatics Center opened its doors and provided the community aquatic options like none other in Nebraska. The Fremont Family YMCA installed a Myrtha Pool, where the water height is the same height as the gutters, so there is no splash back to impede swimmers. Water goes into the gutters then the surge tank (takes the waves out) then back into the pool. This makes the FFY pool one of the fastest pools in the state! The pool has six, 50 meter lanes and twelve, 25 meter lanes. Also, a Defender filtration system with UV lighting was installed. Hot jets were added to one of the pool to provide a comfortable environment for aqua aerobics and swim classes. In addition, a hot tub, sauna, splash pad, new locker rooms and a diving well were included as part of the facility.
