Before & After School

Fundays are a childcare option for kids grades K-8 when school at Fremont Public Schools is not in session.  Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  You can pre-register at the Front Desk of the YMCA.  The hours of Fundays are 6am-6pm.  For more information, contact Senior Program Director, Kylie Brown at kylieh@fremontfamilyymca.org or Assistant Director Jade Arvanitis-Graves at jadea@fremontfamilyymca.org.

DAY/TIME – On days when Fremont Public School is not in session, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

AGES – Youth in Kindergarten through middle school

PLEASE COME PREPARED – if the weather is nice enough to go outside, please make sure your child has a coat or jacket. If we go swimming, please make sure they have a swimsuit and towel.

TITLE 20 – Children with Title 20 requests will be accepted ONLY with prior authorization from their caseworker. Authorization must be received by the YMCA BEFORE your child(ren) can attend Fundays.

COST – Children enrolled in the Before/After School Friends Club with a FFY membership - $25 per day
Children enrolled in the Before/After School Friends Club WITHOUT a FFY membership - $40 per day
FFY members not in the Before/After School Friends Club - $40 per day. 
Non-members not in the Before/After School Friends Club - $60 per day. **IF you sign up the day of a Funday, there will be an additional $15 charge, this includes Title XX participants.

NO REFUNDS if you should have to cancel – credit will be given to other YMCA programs.

At FFYMCA for Bell Field, Bergan, Cedar Bluffs, Deer Pointe, Grant, Howard, JCAC, Linden, Milliken Park and Trinity Elementary Schools

PROGRAM INFORMATION: Students will be transported to and from their schools via the YMCA bus. The program includes a nutritional snack, recreational fun and games, homework help, and enrichment activities including arts, crafts and STEM projects. Fundays are available on non- school days and will require a separate registration for participation.

• Childcare packet must be completed before childcare can start.

Before/After School Friends Club - Arlington

August through May, beginning Tuesday, August 12th and ending Tuesday, May 19th

• Monday through Friday, 6-8 a.m. from 3:20-6 p.m. Morning and afternoon sessions take place at Arlington Public School.

• Youth in pre-kindergarten through middle school. Registrations for this class must be made at the Fremont Family YMCA’s front desk and the first week’s payment must be made at that time to reserve your spot in the program.

• Childcare packet must be completed before childcare can start.

• Arlington youth who are enrolled in the Fremont Family YMCA’s After School Friends Club will receive care and supervision until they are picked up at the school by a parent or guardian by no later than 6 p.m.

Transportation ONLY

During school months beginning Monday, August 12th and ends May 19th

* For youth in 5th through 8th grades enrolled at Johnson Crossing Academic Center, FPS Middle School, Bergan or Trinity who need to be transported from the YMCA to their schools in the morning or brought back to the YMCA after school that afternoon. This is for transportation only – no supervision is involved.*

Fremont Family YMCA is proud to offer our summer fun club childcare program. Which is care for youth entering 1st grade through 8th grade. Summer Fun Club is open Monday-Friday, 6 AM-6 PM. Summer Fun Club care begins May 25th and ends August 7th.

Children can be dropped off at the Fremont Family YMCA as early as 6AM. If they are attending summer camp, they will need to arrive by 8:30 AM. Children will also travel back to the Y once camp is over at 4 PM, to join summer fun club until 6PM.

Summer Fun Club Cost

Member: $165 per week (full time), $145 (part time); Potential Member: $205 per week (full time), $185 (part time)
