Special Interest Programming

Fremont Family YMCA’s Art Explorers is a NEW program for youth ages 9 to 14 wanting to learn more about art or try something new. Our 4-week program will explore 4 different art forms every week.

Week 1: Collage and vision boards

Week 2: Meditative Art

Week 3: Tie Dye

Week 4: Print making

Session Dates: Tuesdays, January 20-February 10 (Jan 20, 27 & Feb 3, 10)

Age Group: 9-17

Registration: Early Bird Registration – November 16-December 3 | Regular Registration – December 3-January 14

Pricing: Early Bird – Member: $30 | Non-Member: $60 ($10 Discount - Ends December 3)

Regular Pricing – Member: $40 | Non-Member: $70

Join us in making a Cookie Jar Mix in a mason jar. Perfect for a last-minute gift or a treat for yourself during winter break. You'll leave with a mix of all the dry ingredients and instructions. When you're ready to bake just add the wet ingredients and bake. 

Date: December 19 anytime between 1-4 pm 

Age Range:  Ages 9 - 17 

Registration: Registration open until December 18. 

Pricing:

A free will donation of a board game, puzzle (500 pieces or less), or craft supplies is also appreciated.

What's new about this? 

This program supports our new non-sports youth programs which will take place in the Hub, formerly known as the Underground. Enter through the north enterance and follow the arrows to Sidner 1 gym.
